A man named Michael Greger wrote a book called, “How Not to Die”. In it he goes over the top 15 leading causes of death and how to manage them through proper diet. The first half of his book is the medical research, the second half is something he calls his daily dozen. The daily dozen is a list of food groups you should be consuming. He talks about how our bodies are colonies of microorganisms needing certain nutrients to repair its self, and by depriving your body of these nutrients you are setting yourself up for bad health. With over 40 plant-based ingredients in this bowl you will get a large portion of this daily dozen.
